Mar 06, 2017 · Hello When i want to torrent a file i use bittorrent. This program is really slow, not my download speed but the program itself. So i tried Utorrent and it has the same problem. I can't figure out what the problem is. It is not that my pc is restricted by its hardware. Kind regards Smurf

I tried to explain that the problem is not with BT and it seems to be with my laptop - every other device on the network runs with acceptable download speeds. Here are the diagnostic results ran from my laptop: Download Speed 1.6mbps. Max Speed available 35.71mbps. Jan 23, 2020 ·  If you can download a torrent on another network (particularly a fast wifi network), then it’s likely that your wifi network is causing the issue.  To fix this, tap on Menu, then Settings, then Incoming TCP Port in our app.  Look at the TCP Port number, and increment it up by one.  For example, if your port number is 6881, make it 6882.
